Built from the Heart

We saw the same thing everywhere — big facilities, rotating staff, and residents who felt like numbers. Chesapeake Cottage was born from a simple belief: seniors deserve a real home with home-cooked meals, staff who know your name, and personal attention.

Located on a quiet road in Snow Hill on the Eastern Shore, we reflect the values of our community — neighborly, genuine, and rooted in doing right by the people you care about.

What We Believe

Four principles guide everything we do at Chesapeake Cottage.

Dignity First

Every resident is treated with the respect they've always deserved — no exceptions.

Feels Like Home

Not a facility — a real home with a living room, meals around the table, and a front porch.

Personalized Care

Only 16 residents — we know every person by name, preference, and routine.

Independence & Purpose

We encourage residents to do what they can, at their own pace. Purpose matters.

Meet Our Team

Snow Hill & the Eastern Shore

Chesapeake Cottage is proud to call Snow Hill, Maryland home. As the county seat of Worcester County, Snow Hill is a small, historic town on the Pocomoke River where neighbors still know each other by name and community truly means something.

The Eastern Shore of Maryland is known for its natural beauty, quiet pace of life, and deep-rooted values of family and faith. It is a place where people look out for one another — and that spirit is woven into everything we do at Chesapeake Cottage.

For families in Worcester, Wicomico, Somerset, and Dorchester counties, Chesapeake Cottage offers quality assisted living close to home — so you never have to send your loved one far away to get the care they need.

Come See for Yourself

The best way to understand what makes Chesapeake Cottage different is to visit. Walk through the home, meet the staff, sit on the porch, and feel the difference a small, family-run home makes. We would love to show you around.
